Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Distributed Risk Corporation handles information in connection with distributedrisk.com and the public desk. It does not cover official source sites we link to.
What this site collects
The public desk is written to be readable without an account. We do not ask you for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank credentials, or payment-card numbers on this site.
If you write to us
If you use the inquire form or otherwise contact us, we receive the name, email, and message you send, and we use them to reply. We do not sell that information.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, hosting and delivery partners may collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, to operate, secure, and understand the Service. We do not run a marketing pixel stack on the public desk as a product.
How we use and share information
We use information to operate the site, respond to inquiries, protect against abuse, and comply with law. We share it with service providers who host or deliver the site under contract, and with authorities where required. We do not sell your information for others' independent marketing.
Retention and security
We keep inquiry records as long as needed to respond and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them. We use reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain sharing. To make a request, use the inquire page. We will verify and respond as required by law.
Children
The Service is for adult professional use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes take effect when we post the updated version with a new date.
