What the public desk is
The public desk publishes short notes on official actions — a designation, a general license, a patched version, a date something becomes allowed or stays prohibited.
A note
Each note starts with the official record: who issued it, what it says, when it takes effect, and a link to that page. Then we say what we think it means.
The same notes are open to agents. Any MCP client can read them with their sources, and search the official record they cite.

If you need more than the public record for the decision in front of you, inquire. That can be conditions on the ground, a name your committee already trusts, or cover someone will underwrite.
